Jeremy Bates out as Offensive Coordinator

Beast Mode was incognito against he Bears on Sunday, as
the Hawks got belted by the Chicago Bears 35-24

Plenty of decisions to be made in a tumultuous off season for Seahawks, including evaluating a mammoth list of free agents.

Haven't posted anything for a while, there has been a lot of things happening.

This morning it was announced that Seahawks had fired offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates, which is somewhat unexpected . I'm not against the move but, Bates play calling this season was very questionable at best. The fade routes on 4th and short, those type of calls are what lead to Bates getting canned. It's a bit of iffy move, because this would be the fourth offensive coordinator the Hawks have had in the last four seasons. Wow! This move could set the offense back also because of the pending NFL lockout, which looks like it will happen. The name that has been thrown out there numerous times is recently fired Denver Bronco's head coach Josh McDaniels. The Hawks and the St. Louis Rams are both rumored to be in the running to acquire Josh McDaniels. Jim Zorn is also another name that has been tossed around, but I think that's just fan conjecture. Whatever the Hawks do, I think they made the right call by getting rid of Bates. The only foreseeable problem is continuity between the offense and the coordinator. Four offensive coordinators in four years isn't going to help.
